    • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a baking stone or pizza stone, place it in the oven to preheat as well.
    • Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and then use a rolling pin to roll it out into a flat disk, about 1/4 inch thick.
    • Place the rolled-out pita breads on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Let them rest for 10-15 minutes.
    • Bake the pita breads in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, or until they puff up and start to turn golden brown. You can also cook them on a hot skillet on the stovetop, flipping once, for about 1-2 minutes per side.

    • Transfer the dough rectangles to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and dusted with cornmeal. Let them rest for 30 minutes.
    • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Place a baking dish filled with water on the bottom rack of the oven.
    • Bake the ciabatta bread in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
