VIRAL TWEET FOLLOWING THE LAKERS' VICTORY OVER THE WARRIORS
The Los Angeles Lakers won Game 4 of their second-round playoff series against the Golden State Warriors 104-101 on Monday.
They now lead the series 3-1 and can eliminate the Warriors in Game 5 on Wednesday night at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
Dennis Schroder, a veteran point guard, played 35 minutes and scored 10 points, three rebounds, three assists, and one steal on 5/9 shooting.
Lonnie Walker was the star of the night, scoring all 15 of his points in the fourth quarter and making two key free throws in the dying seconds.
Schroder's postgame Walker tweet went viral.
His post received 560,000 impressions and 20,000 likes in three hours.
The seventh-seeded Lakers defeated the Memphis Grizzlies in six games in the first round.
They are 5-0 at home in the 2023 NBA Playoffs.
Los Angeles will host Game 6 on Friday night if the Lakers lose Game 5.
The winner will play the Phoenix Suns or Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals.
